Chem-Dry® Central - The 7 Step Carpet Cleaning Process
Step 1: Pre-Inspection
Our Technician will do a walk through inspection with you to test carpet and identify existing conditions, soiling conditions and any potential permanent stains.
Step 2: Pre-vacuum
Loose soil is removed by a thorough raking & vacuuming of the carpet. Removing loose soil is one of the most important steps in the cleaning process.
Step 3: Furniture Moving
Breakable items should be removed from all furniture before our arrival. Sofas, chairs and tables will be carefully moved. Larger pieces, such as beds and dressers are left in place under our regular pricing structure. Heavy dressers can be moved if drawers are empty or removed.
Step 4: Clean and Extract
Clean carpet fibres by spraying, emulsifying and extracting dirt with our state-of-the-art, Green Certified, Hot Carbonating cleaning solution. Most carpets will dry in 1-2 hours.
Step 5: Spot Removal Treatment
Spot removal treatment will be done either before or after the cleaning process, depending on their nature.
** For longer carpet life protectant can also be applied at this point**
Step 6: Post Groom
Your carpet is groomed so that your carpet pile is standing tall when we leave. Post grooming helps the carpet pile dry faster and in the right position.
Step 7: Post Cleaning Inspection.
Our technician will walk through your home with you to point out the cleaning results and make sure that you are completely thrilled with the job. If you have any questions or concerns, please let our technician know during this time. We want to be sure that you are 100% satisfied before we leave.
